Korean Air is bringing back Seoul Incheon–Oita flights from October 25.
It is part of the winter schedule announced on September 11.
Oita is home to Yufuin and Beppu, so this is good news for a winter onsen trip.
Most people fly into Fukuoka and take a bus or train from there. Now Oita is worth adding to the fare search.
Dates and times
The route runs from October 25 to March 26, 2027, four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
| Route | Departs | Arrives |
|---|---|---|
| Incheon → Oita | 09:15 | 10:50 |
| Oita → Incheon | 12:00 | 13:45 |
Times are local.
The aircraft is an A321neo with 182 seats: 8 in Prestige and 174 in economy.

Before you book the ryokan
It is not a daily flight. If you already have a ryokan booked, check your dates match the flight days first.
A cheap fare stops being cheap if moving the hotel costs you a cancellation fee.
The 09:15 departure from Incheon is earlier than it looks.
If you live outside Seoul, check whether the first train or bus gets you there, or whether you need a night near the airport.
The flight home leaves at noon.
If you want breakfast at the ryokan before leaving, check how long the transfer to the airport takes.
If you are taking the airport bus, fit your plans around its timetable.
Fares and baggage were not part of the announcement, so compare the total with Fukuoka for the same dates on the booking screen.
If you are choosing a place in Yufuin, my stays at Ikkoten and Oyado Yufunoshou might help.
Both are past stays, so check current prices.
